Arizona Diamondbacks Get:
SP Ryan Vogelsong (ML)
MR Javier Lopez (ML)

SP Nick Vander Tuig (SA)
Deal. I wanted to move Vogelsong and Lopez out as neither of them are very good and I don't like the contract of Lopez. McCarthy is an upgrade for me over Vogelsong and should help out my rotation. Thatcher will be a great addition to the bullpen. Mark Trumbo will provide power off the bench and will see plenty of AB. I see Stratton as a mid-rotation guy and Vander Tuig as a back end guy so it doesn't kill me to move those guys. Good luck, Arizona!
